The Arlington Professional Firefighters and Paramedics Association (APFPA) proudly announces our endorsement of Adam Parkhomenko as our chosen candidate for the House of Delegates 47^th District seat being vacated by Delegate Al Eisenberg. The APFPA is made up solely of the more than 300 current firefighters, Fire Marshals and paramedics that make up the Arlington County Fire Department. We also have approximately 200 retired members. Our endorsement of Adam does not come lightly. This race involves a number of good candidates. Adam’s extraordinary work ethic, belief in firefighter/employee issues and his commitment to make his position as a House of Delegates member his sole vocation pushed him to the top for us. We need a strong supporter in the House of Delegates to continue the legacy of Arlington House of Delegates members who have wholeheartedly supported firefighters. We are also delighted to see a new core of Democrats surfacing to shape the course of the future for Arlingtonians and employees in Arlington. We believe Adam will be a leader for us in Richmond and share those values at home here in Arlington.
